Pam Eernisse, DPM
Dr. Eernisse attended William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, where she completed her Doctorate in 1998. She received certification in foot surgery in 2002, and currently practices in Justice, IL, in addition to Michigan Avenue Podiatry. She is a founder of Community Foot Health, a program that provides free foot care and distributes shoes and socks to Chicago’s homeless and uninsured populations.
As a practicing podiatrist, she relishes the opportunities to provide her patients with the medical attention they require. From new visits to continual care, Dr. Eernisse possesses the tools to treat her patients both conservatively and surgically, and ensure that they return to their everyday lives.
Charlotte Czmiel, DPM
(Formerly Dr. Charlotte Covello)
Dr. Czmiel completed her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 1999. Shortly after completing her residency, she began practicing podiatry with an emphasis in podiatric care of expecting mothers. In 2007, along with her partner, she opened Michigan Avenue Podiatry.
In addition to starting her own practice, Dr. Czmiel co-founded Community Foot Health, a community-based program that sponsors Chicago’s homeless and uninsured populations with needed footwear and podiatric care.
As a runner, Dr. Czmiel understands the importance of healthy feet as a foundation for an active lifestyle. In her many years of experience, Dr. Covello has attained proven success in the rehabilitation of thousands of runners and athletes alike.
Anna Garbula, DPM
Dr. Garbula attended William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine where she completed her doctorate in 2012. Following graduation she completed a three-year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Training with Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Certificate at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She showed her leadership skills as Chief Resident her last year of residency.
Dr. Garbula specializes in all aspects of podiatric care non-surgical and surgical. She believes that each patient should be treated as an individual and she works with the patient to develop the best treatment plan suited for them.
Dr. Garbula joined Michigan Avenue Podiatry in July, 2015. She is very excited to extend her knowledge and care to all existing and new patients.
