Pamela Eernisse, DPM       

Dr. Eernisse attended William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, where she completed her Doctorate in 1998. She received certification in foot surgery in 2002, and currently practices in Justice, IL, in addition to Michigan Avenue Podiatry. She is a founder of Community Foot Health, a program that provides free foot care and distributes shoes and socks to Chicago’s homeless and uninsured populations.

As a practicing podiatrist, she relishes the opportunities to provide her patients with the medical attention they require. From new visits to continual care, Dr. Eernisse possesses the tools to treat her patients both conservatively and surgically, and ensure that they return to their everyday lives.

Charlotte Covello, DPM

Dr. Covello completed her Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in 1999. Shortly after completing her residency, she began practicing podiatry with an emphasis in podiatric care of expecting mothers.  In 2007, along with her partner, she opened Michigan Avenue Podiatry.

In addition to starting her own practice, Dr. Covello co-founded Community Foot Health, a community-based program that sponsors Chicago’s homeless and uninsured populations with needed footwear and podiatric care.

As a runner, Dr. Covello understands the importance of healthy feet as a foundation for an active lifestyle. In her many years of experience, Dr. Covello has attained proven success in the rehabilitation of thousands of runners and athletes alike.

Stacey Oaks, DPM

Dr. Stacey Oaks completed her undergraduate studies at Loyola University, graduating with honors in 2000. She then earned her Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2004 from The William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine. Following graduation, she completed an extensive three year residency in foot and ankle surgery at Michael Reese Hospital where she also served as chief resident.  

A Chicagoland native, Dr. Oaks has been practicing in the city and surrounding suburbs since completion of her residency in 2007. She is an active member with the Illinois and American Podiatric Medical Associations, and is involved with training residents of the podiatric residency program at Weiss Memorial Hospital.  

She focuses on comprehensive care for all conditions and disorders of the foot and ankle. She utilizes traditional as well as innovative treatment modalities, both surgical and non-surgical, to allow her patients to return to an active, pain free lifestyle as quickly as possible.

Dr. Oaks believes in treating every patient with care and compassion. She feels that the foundation of a good doctor-patient relationship is listening to her patient’s concerns and communicating effectively to achieve a successful outcome. She always takes the time to ensure that each patient understands their condition and collaborates with the patient to develop a treatment plan best suited to their needs.

Anna Garbula, DPM

Dr. Garbula attended William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine where she completed her doctorate in 2012. Following graduation she completed a three-year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery Training with Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Certificate at Weiss Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She showed her leadership skills as Chief Resident her last year of residency.

Dr. Garbula specializes in all aspects of podiatric care non-surgical and surgical. She believes that each patient should be treated as an individual and she works with the patient to develop the best treatment plan suited for them.

Dr. Garbula joined Michigan Avenue Podiatry in July, 2015. She is very excited to extend her knowledge and care to all existing and new patients.
